For our Junior Kindergarteners, we ask that families provide a packed lunch each day. You know your child’s tastes and needs best, and a lunch from home helps ensure they have foods they enjoy and are familiar with during the school day.

We provide a healthy morning and afternoon snack to give children a chance to try new foods and enjoy a little variety with their classmates.

Our Innovators learning space blends Michigan Common Core State Standards with an interactive, child-centered teaching approach that promotes active learning. Children explore mathematics, science, and literacy concepts through hands-on activities and meaningful, real-world applications. Using the multiple intelligences theory and a child-centric model, Innovators are encouraged to think creatively, gather information using their senses, and practice essential social and language skills.
In this dynamic environment, children engage with more complex ideas and concepts through inquiry, creativity, and project-based learning. STEM exploration, literacy development, and hands-on problem-solving are central to the Innovators’ experience. Children are empowered to express their ideas in "100 languages" as proposed by the Reggio Emilia curriculum.
