After-school care at Early Spark Academy runs 3:00–5:30 PM and includes snacks, fun activities, and homework help.

We also provide care on early release days, half days, and pickup is included for Laurus Academy families!

Plus, exciting enrichment clubs are coming soon to help your child explore art, STEM, reading, and more in a fun, supportive environment!

Creativity and Imagination

Math, letters, writing, and other subjects are woven into every playful activity throughout the day. Children explore these subjects in the ways they learn best, whether through hands-on building, storytelling, movement, or art. By disguising academics as play, we help children develop essential skills while keeping curiosity, joy, and creativity at the center of every experience.

Social-Emotional Growth Through Friendships

Our students learn how to work, play, and communicate with others. Through guided group activities and cooperative play, children build empathy, resilience, and important social skills that will last a lifetime.

The Atelier: A Studio for Creativity and Wonder

The atelier is a special place where creativity comes to life. Here, children have access to a wide variety of art materials and tools that invite them to experiment, explore, and express their ideas in unique ways. Guided by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the atelier encourages problem-solving, innovation, and imagination, giving every child the chance to see themselves as an artist and a thinker.

Garden Club

Through gardening, children can learn important life skills such as patience, responsibility, and teamwork. Gardening also introduces children to the wonderful world of nature and encourages them to explore the environment.

Children will also learn important scientific concepts such as soil composition, photosynthesis, and the life cycle of plants. With our Garden Club, children can develop a lifelong appreciation for nature and the environment.

STEM Club

Our STEM Club is based on the

4 Cs: Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity. Through our fun and interactive activities, children will learn early STEM concepts such as engineering, coding, and robotics. Our goal is to foster a lifelong passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Animal Lovers Club

The Animal Lovers Club is the perfect place for children to learn about animals and their habitats in a fun and interactive way. Kids will be able to explore different animals, learn about their diets, and discover the importance of conservation.

Through discussion, children will gain a deeper appreciation for animals and the environment. We hope to foster a lifelong love of animals in the Animal Lovers Club!

Cooking Club

Our cooking club gives children the opportunity to explore their culinary skills and explore math in a creative way! Each week, we experiment with cold recipes such as salads, smoothies, and sandwiches that are easy to make and fun to eat!

We also discuss the importance of cooking and how it can help with nutrition and healthy eating habits. As an added bonus, we explore math concepts in cooking, such as measuring, counting, and fractions. In the cooking club, children will have a fun and educational experience in the kitchen!

Language Club

By starting young, children will have the opportunity to learn a foreign language and gain a better understanding of other cultures. We will offer a variety of language choices, and the language will be decided based on parent interest.

Each session will consist of fun activities and interactive games to help children learn the language. We know that learning a foreign language at an earlier age gives children a better advantage in the future, and we are excited to give them this opportunity.

Book Club

Our book club is designed to help children further develop their literacy skills. Through our book club, children will have the chance to become fluent readers while they build on their pre-reading skills such as phonics, comprehension, and vocabulary.

The children will have a variety of books to read and discuss, allowing them to explore different genres and topics. Every week we rotate the books and provide a range of activities, such as games and crafts, to help children engage with and understand the material.
