Discover Early Spark Academy's Journey and the Role of Multiple Intelligences Theory.

At Early Spark Academy, we provide a safe, stimulating environment for young children, focusing on high-quality early education, especially for kids from underrepresented communities. Our mission is to nurture every child’s innate potential, recognizing that intelligence extends beyond academics to include various capabilities like creativity, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving.

Founded by Amanda Bailey, M.Ed., and Nyanatee Bailey, M.Ed., both with over two decades of experience in early childhood education and leadership, Early Spark Academy is built on a foundation of expertise in curriculum development, instructional technology, and business leadership. Amanda, a certified PK-8th grade teacher with a Master’s in Educational Technology, has worked as a Pre-K teacher, Technology Director, and Early Childhood Specialist. Nyanatee, with a Master’s in Higher Education and expertise in DEI and business operations, ensures the academy’s sustainability and alignment with community needs, always keeping the multiple intelligences theory as a guiding principle.

Inspired by Reggio Emilia and the multiple intelligences theory, we prioritize the holistic development of each child—fostering academic, social, emotional, and cultural growth. We offer a child-centered approach that encourages exploration beyond traditional norms. Our programs for toddlers to five-year-olds, plus afterschool enrichment, aim to build a strong foundation for future learning.

Through innovative, culturally competent, and creative learning strategies rooted in the multiple intelligences theory, our team ensures every child is engaged and enriched during their early childhood years.
